Hi parents!

Your child is 15 1/2  years old, and is trying to convince you that he or she is ready to drive. What do you do?

YES! I know all the thoughts that’s running through your mind? Is my child responsible enough? How am I going to monitor them, and who they will be driving? Here are some ideas that might help you.

1. How is your child doing in school?

A. If your child is doing well, and show’s you that he/she has responsibility  you should trust that they will be responsible

B. If your child is not doing well in school,  make a deal with him/her. Ask them to show you that they are responsible enough to higher their grades, and prove to you that they will be responsible enough to earn driving rights.

2. How to monitor their driving?

I suggest purchasing an electric car. Here are my reasons:

1. The electric is less expensive

2. You can purchase  the car with the least amount of miles, so you know your child would probably have to come hem to charge the car

3. You save on gas

I hope these suggestions help!
